The ROH Board of Directors have begun signing matches for the international television taping the night following the Best in the World Pay Per View! It is with great excitement that Ring of Honor announces that the WOMEN OF HONOR will be in action and the matches will be taped to air as a special WOMEN OF HONOR edition of Ring of Honor Wrestling television.

MANDY LEON vs. JENNY ROSE

In her very first professional wrestling match, “The Exotic Goddess” Mandy Leon took on a woman she considered a friend and mentor, someone she trained with at the ROH Dojo Jenny Rose. It was in Newville, PA where the two met. Jenny defeated Mandy, but Mandy used the experience to launch her career.

There were no hard feelings following the match: Mandy would continue to train at the Dojo, finding success in Women of Honor while Jenny would travel to Japan and immerse herself in a dojo lifestyle where she did nothing but eat, sleep, and breath wrestling. Mandy looks up to Jenny like a big sister, as a role model, and as someone that has created a path that is leading Mandy to her first trip to Japan. But, the two recently had a misunderstanding during a bout between Jenny and “The Gatekeeper” Kelly Klein.

Kelly and Jenny took their brawl to the outside. Mandy, who was joining Ian Riccaboni on commentary, saw Kelly grab a chair. The chair triggered memories of the dishonor Mandy had cleansed from Women of Honor, taking her back to the first-ever No Disqualification Women of Honor bout that occurred in the same building just months earlier. Mandy grabbed the chair from Kelly and went to deliver a forearm when Kelly moved and Mandy struck her friend.

Jenny has wondered if she could have beaten the nearly-unbeatable Kelly had Mandy not turned the tide with a forearm. Mandy has professed that she was only trying to prevent certain damage with a chair. Following the bout, Jenny rolled out of the ring before Mandy could help her to her feet. The two will meet for the first time in three years at Best in the World Weekend in a match that will air on the Women of Honor Television Special!

The fourth-annual Best in the World Pay Per View emanates from the Lowell Memorial Auditorium on Friday June 23 at 9:00 EST/6:00 PST! It is available on all major providers as well as the Fite.TV app, Playstation Network, and ROHWrestling.com.
